A great creative brief is where it all starts. I comb through the strategy and research, do my own research and gleam insights from the client about their needs and formulate a plan on how to solve. Market research, opposition research, social media strategy’s can all lead to an insight that will guide the entire creative process and end up in a single, guiding “seed” idea that all creative will tie back to.
Inspiration can come from anywhere. Always searching for my next muse, often pulling from my travels, architecture (new and old) and other successful and memorable experiences
In developing a successful experience, the Space itself is one of the largest dictators of what the space will look like and how the experience will unfold to the attendee. Bubble Diagrams, Merchandising Plans, Zone Plans, Flow Diagrams, Experience Plans, Traffic Plans help to visualize what will work in the space as well as giving a clue to how budgets may be allocated within the space.
This is where I come up with the look and feel for the initial concept in the space. This could be a Sketch, a white model or a 3d model Screenshot.
We’ll take the approved concept direction and visualize the final design and experience. Renderings using 3ds Max with Vray and or Unreal Engine with animations / flythroughs.
Drawings to get things built! These drawings are meant to help break down the individual elements and get pricing for what goes into the Experience. Pricing Furniture, custom constucted elements, and anythign that is driven by the creative concept.
